The Minister of Sports Borko Ristovski visited Bitola today and, together with the Mayor Toni Konjanovski, toured the infrastructure sports facilities that are in the implementation phase.
Ristovski announced that starting next week, after receiving supervision from the Municipality of Bitola, the construction of the swimming pool at the “Dame Gruev” Primary School will continue, one of the projects that were started by the Agency for Youth and Sports and were left unfinished for years.
-Today, together with the Mayor of Bitola, Toni Konjanovski, we are here to inform you and are pleased to announce that what was started several years ago and left to rot, will resume work starting next week. After receiving supervision from the Municipality of Bitola, the construction of the swimming pool at the “Dame Gruev” Primary School will continue. With our presence today and with the procurement of most of the machinery for the swimming pool, we once again confirm that we will stand behind every promise we make. We have committed to completing all five swimming pools by the end of the summer, and the swimming pool in Bitola is one of them, and we will fulfill that. We continue to work dedicatedly and build better conditions for sports and recreation – emphasized Minister Borko Ristovski.
The swimming pool in Bitola is expected to be completed on time and put into operation by the beginning of July this year.
This is one of the five swimming pools that were started and left unfinished by the Agency for Youth and Sports, for which the Ministry of Sports has pledged to complete them and put them into operation during the summer.
