Minister of Sports Borko Ristovski met today with the expert team and some of the young athletes who will represent Macedonia at the World and European Gymnasium for Primary and Secondary Schools, which will be held from 4 to 14 April 2025 in Zlatibor, Serbia.
Ristovski wished them a successful performance at the upcoming Gymnasium, emphasizing that the young athletes will always have the support of the Ministry of Sports.
-I wish our young athletes a successful performance and a strong motivation to give their maximum and proudly represent Macedonia at the upcoming Gymnasium in Zlatibor. The Ministry of Sports will always be on the side of sports and will provide support for young talents, because they are the future of Macedonian sports – said Minister Borko Ristovski.
The performance of young Macedonian athletes at the Gymnasium in Zlatibor is under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with the Union of Sports Federations of Macedonia and the School Sports Federation of Macedonia.
Macedonian athletes will compete in the following sports:
– Basketball (men’s team – European High School Championship)
– Volleyball (men’s and women’s team – European High School Championship)
– Athletics (World High School Championship)
– Ping-pong (World High School Championship)
Over 4,000 athletes from 55 countries are expected to compete at the Zlatibor High School Championship.
