Minister of Sports Borko Ristovski congratulates the success of Macedonian karate player Stefan Stojanović, winner of a bronze medal at the World Karate Championship for Cadets, Juniors and Youth U21 held in Venice, Italy.
At the reception, Minister Ristovski emphasized that Stojanović’s success is a promotion for Macedonian karate and proof of the quality of Macedonian young athletes.

The medal from the World Championship is proof of the great dedication and talent of our young athletes and provides additional motivation to continue supporting and developing sports in Macedonia. Congratulations to Stefan, his coaches and the entire Macedonian national team that worthily represented us at this World Championship for youth categories – emphasized Minister Ristovski.
Stefan Stojanović is the only karate player from the Macedonian national team who won a medal at the World Championship for Cadets, Juniors and Youth in Italy. This is Stojanović’s second medal from the youth karate championships. Two years ago, at the World Championships in Turkey, he won silver. Stojanović is the only karateka from Macedonia with two medals from two world championships in the U-21 category and is first in the WKF World Rankings in his category.
